Unfortunately, these animals often face threats such as habitat destruction, injury from vehicle accidents, and climate change. Emerald Acres Animal Rescue plays a vital role in rescuing and rehabilitating Australian wildlife, including iconic species like macropods, reptiles and birds.

Helping Farm Animals

Farm animals, too, are often in need of care and protection. At Emerald Acres, we also focus on rescuing and rehabilitating farm animals—whether it’s a cow in distress, a sheep with injuries, or a group of chickens from an abusive situation. Our mission is to ensure that all animals, regardless of their background, are treated with dignity and compassion.

Supporting Domestic Pets

Domestic pets are not immune to hardship, and many find themselves abandoned, lost, or neglected. Emerald Acres Animal Rescue is committed to rescuing dogs, cats, and other companion animals in need. Through foster care, medical attention, and a thorough adoption process, we ensure that each pet receives the love and care they deserve. Our goal is to match every pet with a responsible, loving home, where they can live a full and happy life.
